For students who wish to earn an additional certification or simply enrich their knowledge base, The College of Saint Rose offers several options.




Extension in Bilingual Education; Open to Saint Rose students and other students who have a teaching certificate and graduate degree.

•BLE 500 Foundations of Bilingual Education, 3 credits
•BLE 508 Sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics, 3 credits
•BLE 580 Methods of Teaching Native Language Arts and Content Areas to Bilingual Learners, 3 credits
•BLE 581 Methods of Teaching English Language Arts and Content Areas to Bilingual Learners, 3 credits
