Events occur Thursdays to Saturdays, both on and off campus, providing students with alcohol/drug-free alternative programs. Students are encouraged to join the Late Knight programming committee to assist in the planning and sponsoring of events. Activities are sponsored by the Office of Student Life.

  • Student Association: Rose Rock Committee

    Event Details

    Rose Rock committee works to bring high level entertainment and large scale events to campus – from battle of the bands to blood drives to, you guessed it, Rose Rock. Rose Rock is our annual big Spring Weekend concert featuring Saint Rose performers, two big headliners, inflatables on the Quad, and much more.

    With COVID-19, we are still committed to bring campus a fun experience just in a new way. Have ideas on keeping our tradition going? Want to get involved with selecting the performers?     Event Details

    Inclusion committee works on important equity issues impacting every Golden Knight. Have concerns? Want to help improve your Saint Rose experience? Then stop by the Inclusion committee’s bi-weekly meetings to voice your concerns and be part of creating change. The committee will talk about creating and sustaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for everyone.

    The focus is now on petitioning for gender neutral restrooms, seeking ways to offer free feminine hygiene products on campus, and how to establish a LGBTQIA+ training seminar for faculty, staff, and administrators. Plus, the committee will continue to talk about Black History Month education and celebration events on campus.

  • Paint and Rewind: Celebrate Women’s History Month on Friday, March 19th at 7 p.m. (EST). Need a moment to unwind from the week? Want to learn how to paint easy portraits of inspiring women leaders? Then join us for this event! Learn how to paint from one of our very own leaders on campus, Resident Assistant and SEB Vice President Vivian Leung. Rewind by talking a look back at women in history and talk about who inspires you today with a discussion led by Late Knight Co-Advisors Cherèva McClellan and Theresa Belfance. To participate, you must RSVP and pick up your paint supplies, paint guide, and other fun surprises. Limited to the first 30 registrants. You will have the opportunity to win several prizes when you are part of the committee. You will also have the opportunity to meet new people.

Our weekly meetings for Spring 2021 are now held on Zoom each Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. (EST). Join the committee to plan and advertise upcoming events and social media challenges!
