Academic Advising Office Hours

Please note that the Academic Advising Office will be available for walk-ins for all undergraduate students from 10:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Fridays. You may schedule an appointment through Navigate or walk-in. To schedule a meeting with us through Navigate please use the following directions:

• What type of Appointment? : Advising and Individual Class Questions
• What department: Office of Academic Advising
• Service: General Advising
• Location: Virtual Meeting or Office of Academic Advising
• Pick an Adviser to meet with.
• You will then be able to schedule an appointment date and time.

If you are having trouble with securing an appointment or can only meet outside of the Academic Advising office hours, please call our office number so we can best assist you.

Fall Pre-Advisment Appointments for First-year and Transfer students

Pre-Advisement meetings are happening now!  Please schedule your Pre-Advisement meeting with your general advisor through Navigate.  These meetings are required.  During these meetings your general advisor will review academic policies/degree requirements, the course registration process, and assist you in being proactive about your future academic plans.  The Pre-Advisement meetings will run from now until the first week of November.  If you are having trouble scheduling your appointment, please contact the Academic Advising Office via e-mail advisement@strose.edu or call us at (518) 454 5217.

Information for First-year and Transfer students starting in Fall 2023

Please fill out your pre-registration form for Fall 2023 courses by downloading the appropriate form below.  Complete the PDF form by typing into the pre-fillable fields, save the PDF and e-mail it back to advisement@strose.edu If you have any questions about the pre-registration form please e-mail advisement@strose.edu or call us at (518) 454 5217

We see students by appointment or on a walk-in basis at our office in Saint Joseph Hall, 3^rd floor.

*Majors in Childhood/Special Education, Inclusive Education, Early Childhood/Childhood Education, and Communication Sciences and Disorders access all these services through the School of Education’s Field Placement and Advisement Office*
