Every now and then, we can all use some help. The ICAN program at Saint Rose is designed to help students get the short-term support and assistance needed.
Supportive Resources
Dennis McDonald Student Emergency Fund
The Dennis McDonald Student Emergency Loan Fund is designed to assist students with short-term emergencies such as medications, fire loss, emergency medical costs, and emergency travel expenses.
Annie Sheeley Emergency Meal Swipe Program
To receive assistance, students should fill out the application. Once submitted, a committee will review the request. If funds are available, the student will receive three meals a week for four weeks. Students are eligible to re-apply.
Emergency Meal Bag Program
Meal bags are available to anyone in the Saint Rose community who is experiencing food insecurity. Each meal bag contains enough supplies for three meals each; breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
GK Shop Food Pantry
The GK Shop was started in 2021 to help provide our campus community with food resources. Everyone is welcome to take what they need from the GK Shop. We offer various dry goods as well as meals from the Main Dining Room to be warmed up.
