Instructional Technology Programs

The programs focus on instructional technology knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to develop, design, implement, instruct, and evaluate curriculum integrating technologies with an emphasis on adult learning theory in the Master's program and K-12 pedagogy in the certificate program.

The Masters in Instructional technology has an emphasis on andragogy as appropriate to prepare candidates to enter adult education and training careers. Whether the career path leads to civil service training positions, religious education, corporate education, higher education or as a course designer developing online courses, this program serves as a skill set pathway into many cutting age careers in training and education. Many MBAs find they need training and leadership skills provided by courses supporting this degree. The program would serve learners interested in traditional careers as well as non-traditional career paths that involve training and education of adults.

Improve your Integration Skills

Tech Center

The certificate program serves as a foundation for integrating technology into K-12 classroom settings. It serves as a resume builder, providing a competitive edge in today's teacher education market by improving the technology skill set a beginning teacher leaving preparatory program has when entering the teaching field. Many graduates with this certificate find themselves becoming school building technology coordinators, on technology strategic planning committees, and a stepping stone often to more advanced academic programs.
