Partnerships with Community Colleges

Articulation agreements create a partnership between community colleges and The College of Saint Rose. The purpose of articulation agreements is to plan and sequence students course work during their first two years of college in such a way that the course work fits within the requirements of a specific baccalaureate program. Through such agreements the transition of a student into upper-level course work occurs smoothly and without loss of credit.

2 + 2 Programs

A 2+2 program allows students to pursue a bachelor’s degree by first attending a community college for 2 years and then transferring to The College of Saint Rose to complete his/her bachelor’s degree in another 2 years. The College of Saint Rose partners with many community colleges throughout the state creating streamlined transferable programs detailed in the articulation agreements below. Students should follow the prescribed sequence of courses leading to the A.A.S., A.S. or A.A. degree at his/her community college, then transfer to The College of Saint Rose with junior status to complete his/her bachelor’s degree.

The agreements listed below are intended to be 2+2 agreements and a student may graduate in 4 years by following the courses outlined in the respective agreements. Please be aware that pursuing a bachelor’s degree may take longer than 4 years if a student does not follow the prescribed sequence of courses, changes majors, or attends college part-time.

A * by the program name indicates the program may require an additional semester to graduate.
