The Office of Finance and Administration provides consultative and college wide support services to students, faculty and staff by strategically managing institutional resources, including personnel, financial, technical and physical plant resources. The focus of excellent strategic management is in the promotion of student-learning outcomes that are achieved by providing a safe, comfortable learning and work environment to the extended college community.

Areas of Oversight

The mission of Financial Planning is the development and implementation of a comprehensive budget plan that ensures the resources to provide a competent, confident and caring commitment to the development of the students, to the institution and to the region. Financial Planning supplies the support to develop and allocate resources to provide a quality environment for a quality education by addressing the classroom environment; work environment; library sources; incorporating/enhancing technology; improving and expanding residence life, and creating an attractive, well-designed and well-maintained campus.

In keeping with the mission of the College, a stable financial environment resulting from sound accounting practices provides the basis for resources, support and services necessary for students to experience academic and personal growth. The Financial Services Department’s intent is to manage financial resources in a way that ensures the fiscal stability of the institution, honoring policies and procedures established by the Board of Trustees, ensuring appropriate services and funding for the campus.

The College of Saint Rose Human Resources Department furthers the educational mission and strategic goals of the College by providing comprehensive human resources services designed to attract and retain highly qualified employees. With the campus community, the Human Resources Department strives to build and strengthen the diversity of the campus.
