For the third year in a row, The College of Saint Rose was named to the 2020 Transfer Honor Roll by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), an honor society for students who attend an associate-degree-granting college.
Meet Ajah Ochoa, a Business Administration student who transferred to Saint Rose from her home state of Georgia. Ajah loved that there are so many resources and activities for transfer students at Saint Rose, which allowed her to meet new people and get involved in the Saint Rose community as soon as she arrived.
Meet Jacob Pitts, an English Adolescence Education student who transferred to Saint Rose after attending community college. After meeting new friends while attending an open house at Saint Rose, Jacob knew this was the place he wanted to attend. One thing that stood out to Jacob was the Lally School of Education and how current education majors at Saint Rose explained how Saint Rose applicants get put on the top of the list when applying for education jobs in the Capital Region.
Meet Mykha'el, a Master's accounting student who transferred to Saint Rose two years ago after attending a college fair at a local community college. Able to get an instant-decision that very day, Mykha'el was quickly accepted into The College of Saint Rose. One of the things he has enjoyed most about Saint Rose are the small class sizes that allow for personal relationships with professors.
