If you are interested in a music major or minor, we encourage you to audition with our faculty at The College of Saint Rose.
Online Audition Requirements
An audition with members of the Music Department faculty is required for everyone who wishes to major or minor in any of our music programs at The College of Saint Rose. The ability to read music notation is required for all instrumentalists and vocalists. All students may be asked to demonstrate their sight-reading abilities during their audition.
Due to the College’s visit freeze, all music auditions will take place online. Fortunately, we have a platform that makes it easy for you to conduct an online audition! We can’t wait to hear from you.
Follow these steps for your online audition:
- Submit your audition materials through Acceptd at https://getacceptd.com/
- Once in Acceptd, create a profile and follow the prompts to select Saint Rose as a recipient of your materials.
- Please make sure you are prepared with the appropriate audition materials for your program and area of study. You can find the exact audition requirements posted on our website here.
- In addition, you will need to upload an interview segment on Acceptd as well as your performances.
- Please fill out our online audition registration form as well, so we know to look for your submission, here.
The College is helping to reduce the cost of using an online audition platform due to the circumstances. Use the code 03saint03 during your submission process and the cost will only be $15 to upload your audition materials via Acceptd!
