Delta Mu Delta is an International Honor Society of Business. Students at The Huether School of Business are eligible for membership in Delta Mu Delta based on their academic achievements. Undergraduate students will be considered for membership in their junior year provided they have completed at least half of the business credits required for their degree. Graduate students who have completed one-half of the course work will also be considered for membership. The student must be in good academic standing and be in the top 20% of their class. Undergraduate students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25, and graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.60.  Candidates are eligible to join by invitation. Induction ceremonies are usually held toward the end of the spring semester.

The Delta Mu Delta chapter at The Huether School of Business elects an executive board and engages in activities to support the business students.

Delta Mu Delta was founded in 1913 at the New York University School of Commerce by five professors. Delta Mu Delta was incorporated in 1952 and admitted into membership in the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) in 1963. In 1922 the Society established and affiliation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Since that time, all new chapters may be formed only at schools whose business programs are accredited by ACBSP at the baccalaureate/graduate level.
