Where did you grow up?
York, Maine.

What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Quinnipiac University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.

What was your favorite class in college?
It was a class called Advertising Competition. Our class participated in a regional competition against other area colleges/universities. We were tasked with developing a comprehensive advertising campaign for Hallmark. At the end of the semester, we presented our campaign to a panel of judges. Even though we placed in second and were not able to proceed to Nationals, it was still a great experience.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
I would either be a Guidance Counselor or work in Human Resources.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
Swimming, hiking, reading and spending time with family.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
Having my two kids…Will and Natalie (which is closely followed by somehow getting them on the bus on time.)

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
My family (I’m sure that doesn’t count but I don’t see any rules), Breyer’s Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and a boat to get off the island.

Where did you grow up?
Queens, New York.

What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

What was your favorite class in college?
Immigrants and Literature in the United States.  My favorite part of the class was writing an essay topic about the significance of clothing in literature and how it portrayed class and changing values.  It was also interesting to learn the history of various cultures and periods of immigration that make the United States it’s melting pot today.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
I would have been a fiction/fantasy writer or a school counselor.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I love to read and write on my downtime, especially with a hot cup of tea! Some other hobbies include bullet journaling, baking, and playing games.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
As an introvert, my biggest accomplishment was performing spoken word about diversity on stage in college.  I had taken the opportunity to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone.

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Alcohol for disinfecting wounds/cleaning things, a rocket flare to signal for help, and a book about people being deserted on an island like “Lord of the Flies”

Where did you grow up?
Orange County, New York.

What is your educational background?
I went to SUNY Orange and got my Associates with Honors in Liberal Arts, and then transferred to The College of Saint Rose!  Here I earned my Bachelor’s in Communications.  I am currently attending Graduate school at SUNY Albany to receive my Master’s in Higher Education.

What was your favorite class in college?
COM 222: Film Genres Horror; Dr. Jin Kim taught the class during the winter semester.  We watched different horror films from various cultures and from different time periods and analyzed the different film techniques utilized in each movie.  It was a fun class to take over winter break!

At SUNY Orange I took a Plagues and Pandemics class, where we learned about different Plagues and Pandemics from all different time periods.  It was especially interesting taking that class during the COVID-19 Pandemic!  We compared the differences in medical technology, safety protocols, and how widespread the diseases were.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
Something to do with World Languages; I love learning about other cultures and languages.  I have taken French, Italian, and Mandarin (Chinese) throughout high school and college.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy baking/cooking, volunteering, geocaching, and spending time with my family.  I also play the bagpipes in a pipes and drums band.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
Training my three dogs, bearded dragon and tarantula!

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Sunscreen (since I burn easily), my phone, and a solar powered portable phone charger (to keep my phone charged).
