The business internship is designed to be a structured practical professional experience; therefore it is to be under the supervision of qualified academic and company personnel – the faculty sponsor and the Director of Internships. The following courses satisfy the internship requirement:

BUS 494 –Internship: this three (3) credit course is a required core course for all Business Administration students enrolled after Fall 2009. It may also be used for students who entered prior to the Fall of 2009 for a concentration course or for an elective.

BUS 494 – Honors Internship: Provides an Academic Scholarship for the credit-bearing summer experience and a limited number of Internship Stipends from Saint Rose to assist with expenses. The School has recruited several Honors Internship Partners who will provide quality professional experiences for student interns. The final selection of Honors Interns will be determined by the Honors Internship Partners.

BUS 498 – Faculty Sponsored Internship: this three to twelve (3-12) credit course may be used for students that entered prior to the Fall of 2009 for a concentration course or for an elective. Faculty approval is required prior to approval of the internship experience.
