SAINT ROSE COMMUNITY CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – EXTENDED UNTIL APRIL 26, 2024

Closing Thoughts Honoring Saint Rose is the final exhibition to be held at the Esther Massry Gallery, Massry Center for the Arts. It will be co-curated and installed by Jeanne Flanagan, Founding Director. The exhibit brings together The College of Saint Rose community to share in the story of its distinguished history and it provides closure to the institution. Memories, people, programs, events are highlighted. Featured is the wall display of individual narratives that reflect on meaningful, personal experiences. This collection will serve as a repository of memories to be included in a Time Capsule.

The Massry Center for the Arts will be accessible through the entrance nearest the Picotte Recital Hall; not the Madison Avenue entrance.

Guidelines

The entire College community, both past and present, is invited to contribute to the wall display. We welcome submissions of significant memories, stories, poems, musical compositions, and/or artwork. Each person may submit one entry. The deadline for submissions is April 26, 2024. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All submissions must be on 11 x 8.5 inch paper in a vertical format, using white or off-white paper. Colored papers will not be accepted.
  • Computer generated documents should be saved as PDFs.
  • PDF color copies will be printed on photo paper.
  • If submitting documents or art on specialty papers, they can be mailed or hand-delivered.
  • Please include the following information on the front of your submission:
    • name, typed or signed
    • relationship to the College (alumni, student, faculty, administrator, staff)
    • dates associated with the College
