Assistant and Associate Professor of Mathematics at The College of Saint Rose
I teach all levels of math, from liberal arts math for nonmath majors, to advanced math for math majors.
Area of Expertise:
Mathematical Modeling in Biology and Medicine; Mathematical Finance
Improving Undergraduate STEM Education Through Research Experiences; Women in STEM; Big Data Analytics
Undergraduate Research Projects:
I am interested in the application of mathematics in biology and medicine. The mathematical methods I use are differential equations, dynamical systems and numerical simulations. There are several opportunities for undergraduate research projects in:
Mathematical and Computational Biology, Research in Mathematics, Discrete dynamical systems, Mathematical modeling with differential equations, Mathematical modeling of cancer, Mathematical modeling for drug therapy (chemotherapy), Mathematical Ecology/Evolutionary Biology, Mathematical modeling of diseases, Cell Biology: Math modeling, Cardiovascular modeling, and Neuroscience modeling
