HOME.COMING & Family Weekend is set for September 22-24, and we are excited to welcome you all back to Saint Rose. The schedule of events is packed, making for a great fall weekend in Albany. We posed some frequently asked questions to Whitney Pagano, Director of Alumni Relations at Saint Rose.

Q: Why should I consider attending HOME.COMING & Family Weekend this year?
A: This year’s HOME.COMING & Family Weekend schedule has the most events ever, and you won’t want to miss it! We have activities that will be sure to please everyone, and it will be a great chance to reconnect with classmates and friends, while visiting the campus during a time when you can interact with students. Click here for a complete listing of the weekend’s events. Registration will begin in early August – do not miss the chance to be part of this great event!

Q: Could I see my former professors there?
A: On Saturday afternoon of HOME.COMING & Family Weekend, we will be holding Academic School Open Houses. These are a great opportunity for alumni to reconnect with professors and hear an update from their schools.

Q: Is there a way to create a special reunion session at the event for members of my program/school/class?
A: Yes! If you are interested in planning an event specifically for your class or affinity group, the Office of Alumni Relations is happy to accommodate that request.  We will work with you to plan something special and memorable for your group. Contact our office directly at alumni@strose.edu.

Q: What activities are there for my whole family to enjoy?
A: There will be many family-friendly events at HOME.COMING & Family Weekend that we encourage you and your family to be part of. By incorporating our Athletics Department into the overall weekend, there will be numerous sporting events, scrimmages, and even an “Open Swim” for families in the pool. There will also be HOME.COMING Fest on the lawn which will feature food trucks, live music and performances by our student groups, and novelty vendors.
