Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) has once again named The College of Saint Rose to its 2022 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways the university has created to support transfer students.

Just one of only 171 colleges across the country and 17 colleges in New York State to receive this distinction, the Transfer Honor Roll recognizes four-year colleges and universities for their transfer friendliness, which is determined by their PTK Connect Transfer Profile, an online platform PTK students use to search for colleges.

“It takes a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work to be successful in college,” said Sandra Battaglino, director of transfer enrollment at Saint Rose. “One of the highlights of what I do is to work with successful students like those in PTK. We are proud to offer multiple opportunities to support their success.”

At Saint Rose, all PTK members are eligible for a $1,000 annual scholarship in addition to merit scholarships up to $17,000. The College’s Seamless Transfer program allows SUNY students to enter Saint Rose with their liberal-education requirements met, saving both time and money so they can focus on their major.

Transfer students can also receive an on-demand credit evaluation and admissions decision during the College’s popular Instant Decision Days.

“We are excited to receive the PTK Honor Roll distinction,” said Michael Gole, assistant director of transfer admissions. “This honor formally recognizes Saint Rose’s long-term commitment to fostering an environment of success for this important student population.”
