The Esther Massry Gallery at The College of Saint Rose opens an exhibition of varied media by the artists and educators who serve on the Saint Rose art and design faculty on June 1.

The exhibition will present works by the 19 artists/faculty: Ann Breaznell, Anne Hobday, Chris St. Cyr and Jessica Loy in graphic design; Scott Brodie and Ben Schwab in drawing and painting; Kris Corso Tolmie in printmaking; Paul Mauren in sculpture; Rob O’Neil and Tom Santelli in photography; Gina Occhiogrosso and Susan Meyer in foundations; and Jeanne Flanagan, Esther Massry Gallery director.

“The Art and Design Faculty Show” begins Friday, June 1, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery, located in the Massry Center for the Arts, 1002 Madison Avenue, Albany, New York. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. The exhibit will continue on view through Tuesday, July 31.

Summer gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed Saturday through Monday and on July 4. The gallery will close for August and re-open Friday, September 7.  In addition, the gallery will be open 1st Fridays, June 1 and September 7, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Center for Art & Design is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and offers bachelor of fine arts and bachelor of science degree programs.
