Overview of College Student Services Administration

The Masters of Science in Education degree in College Student Services Administration requires the successful completion of a 36 credit hour program. The philosophy of the program is based out of the historic view of the field of Student Personnel which was counseling. The student as a whole person is an important developmental perspective along with examining services from a "Student Centered" point of view.

There are many qualities that differentiate the Saint Rose graduate program in College Student Services Administration from similar programs at other institutions:
* small class sizes allow students to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of our faculty who are all experienced professionals
*multicultural and social justice issues are integrated into all course work.
*emphasis on combining a counseling philosophy, student development theory and administration.
* the program strongly emphasizes the practical application of course work.
*students will also participate in one 300 hour internship in the field of College Student Services
