Teaching
Courses in contemporary political thought (especially as it relates to globalization, social difference, and structural inequality), the philosophy of social science, interest groups and social movements, political parties and elections, Women’s Studies, and American Studies
Publications
Co-author of an article on race, citizenship, and the relocation of the South Carolina Confederate flag and reviews books and manuscripts for Citizenship Studies, New Political Science, Gender and Politics, and Whitehouse Studies.

Currently working on a book-length manuscript, The Razor’s Edge: Group Representation, Feminist Theory, and the Promise of Justice, which focuses on feminist theory contributions to a more just understanding of political representation for historically marginalized groups.

2006-07 resident fellow in the Center for Citizenship, Race, and Ethnicity Studies (CREST) at The College of Saint Rose
Member of the American Political Science Association, The Caucus for a New Political Science, the Northeastern Political Science Association, and the National Women’s Studies Association.

Hobbies
In addition to her academic pursuits, Angela is an avid hiker, pool player, beer connoisseur, and college football fan.
