Requirements

The following are required for admission to the Call to Leadership Program:

•The applicant must possess a master’s degree.
•The applicant must be able to demonstrate three years of teaching and/or pupil personnel experience.
•A completed The College of Saint Rose Graduate Study application.
•Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
Two letters of recommendation, including one from a school administrator.
A letter of support from the superintendent, stating that the superintendent will provide a mentoring and two-day shadowing experience as well as release the candidate for a couple Friday classes.
•A brief essay (250-300 words) describing three qualities or characteristics of a successful leader and explaining why you should be selected to participate in the Call to Leadership Program.
•An interview with the Program Director or Educational Leadership faculty member.
