Opportunities for Campus Partnerships
Classroom/Group Presentations
The Career Center is available to make presentations to classes and student organizations. Topics include an overview of our services, programs and resources, as well as a variety of career-related topics (e.g. graduate school, interviewing, job & internship search, LinkedIn, resume and cover letters, plus more).
Career Related Assignments
We encourage you to think about ways to integrate career-related activities, that encourage use of the Career Center, into your classroom curriculum. Each semester faculty assign students to stop by the Career Center to learn about our services, programs and resources, take one of our career-related assessments, attend a Career Center program or event, have their resume and cover letter critiqued, and/or participate in a mock interview.
HireStRose is the Career Center’s career management system with job and internship opportunities; employer, event, and recruiting information; plus other career-related resources for our students/alumni and employers.
Faculty/Admin/Staff interested in accessing the system should contact the Career Center at 518-454-5141 or career@strose.edu
The Career Center partners with Interfolio, a web-based credential management service, to provide self-managed 24/7 online access to student/alumni accounts. This service provides account holders and their recommenders the ability to mail or upload documents, plus more.
