This past month, Saint Rose alumni have made the news for leadership in many areas, including biopharmaceuticals, entrepreneurship, sports management, school administration, and the Saint Rose Board of Trustees. Read about their recent accomplishments here.

Jonathan Baker ’03 (BS, Elementary Education: Pre-K-6) has been named principal of Hadley-Luzerne Elementary School. Currently an assistant principal at Queensbury High School, Baker will begin his new role in the fall. He appeared in the Glens Falls Post Star on March 21, 2018, in “Queensbury administrator selected to lead Hadley-Luzerne Elementary.”

Mary Mattes ’97 (BA, Biology) was in the news for her new position as senior vice president of biometrics and drug safety at Synteract. She appeared on March 23, 2018, in “Director of diversity and inclusion arrives at MassBio …” in Endpoints News.

Joe Milazzo G’85 (MS, Special Education) was mentioned by several news outlets for his new position as vice president of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League:

Jordan Glindmyer Yanatos ’09 (BS, Criminal Justice, Behavior, and Law) and her famous Pinup Jordan’s Mermaid Lounge will be featured on national television. This summer, Pinup Jordan will appear with host Tori Spelling on “The Look All Stars” on the CW Television Network. The news appeared on March 20, 2018, in “’Pinup Jordan’ will show true colors on national TV show” in the Schenectady Daily Gazette.

Schuyler Bull ’10 (dual BS/MBA, Business Administration), Dan Cancelliere G’05 (MBA, Business Administration), and Jordan Glindmyer Yanatos ’09 (Criminal Justice, Behavior, and Law) were named as 2018 recipients of the annual “40 under 40” awards, appearing on March 19, 2018, in “Meet the 40 under 40 class of 2018” in the Albany Business Review.
