Art Flynn ’95, retired science teacher at Albany’s Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology, returned to the Saint Rose campus to serve as a judge at the Joseph Henry Science Fair. 

Erin Whitney G’95 is a 2023 California State University, Chico’s Professional Achievement Honors recipient. This honor recognizes exemplary teacher-scholar achievement on Chico’s campus. An assistant professor in the School of Education, Whitney also serves as a student advisor and mentor, been published in numerous journals, frequently presents both nationally and internationally and most importantly, puts advocacy and inclusion at the heart of everything she does. “She focuses in examining inequities and rethinking instructional practices and policies to make schools safer, more supportive and more equitable for marginalized students.” To learn more about Whitney and her exemplary work, visit https://today.csuchico.edu/2023-professional-achievement-honors/.

Nicholas (Nick) Negron ’17 graduated cum laude from New York Law School and passed the bar. He recently became engaged and accepted a position in the Capital Markets Department at Cadwalader, Wickersham, and Taft.
