Accepting Applications Through July 2nd
The College of Saint Rose offers Capital Region music students an amazing opportunity to work with world renowned faculty in The Massry Center for the Arts; our new state-of-the-art facility. This affordable two-week day camp is designed for dedicated music students entering grades 8-12 (grades 5-7 also considered for Piano Intensive program). Students can share their excitement about music with other local and talented young musicians as they prepare for and present a performance each week.
Comprehensive and engaging classes are available to students at all levels who have at least three years experience on their instrument. The primary ensembles include: Wind Ensemble, Select Chorus, Orchestra and Piano Intensive Study. There will be a variety of workshops, sectionals, and recitals given by The College of Saint Rose faculty and Music Education students. Private lessons, at an additional cost, are available to interested students. Each week the camp takes a field trip, one of which is designated as a musical trip (such as SPAC), and one of which is designated as a social trip (such as Six Flags Theme Parks).
