Why Choose Saint Rose for a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics?

The Business Economics major affords students an opportunity to combine knowledge of the structure and operation of our economy with study of the many functional areas of business.

Students will also gain an awareness and appreciation of the global and technological forces at work shaping the environment in which businesses operate.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the College Fed Challenge at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in New York City, conduct research, present it at the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium, and publish it at the Journal of Undergraduate Research. They can earn credit while participating in an off-campus internship program and become members of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society for economics.

Graduates from the Business Economics major are highly sought after for their unique mix of analytic and applied business skills in addition to being well-suited for successful careers in business.

The Business Economics major is an excellent preparation for graduate studies such as law, business, economics, diplomacy, public administration, labor relations, health care administration, environmental studies, urban planning, and other fields.
