An admitted student for master’s degree study beginning in Fall 2017 who meets specific criteria is guaranteed a $1,000 tuition grant each semester for up to two academic years (Fall and Spring semesters).

Bridge Grant for Career Changers

An individual student may only receive one grant. A grant recipient may also be awarded a graduate scholarship or Graduate Assistantship if they apply for and are offered one.

Who is eligible?

In order to be/remain eligible students must meet all of the criteria below:

  • have graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program at Saint Rose in 2016 or 2017
  • have applied by November 15th, 2017, and been unconditionally admitted, to a master’s degree program in Adolescence Education, Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Literacy or Special Education for Spring 2018 (BS/MS students are not eligible)
  • have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the Bachelor’s level
  • have submitted an Intent to Enroll form for Spring 2018 by December 1st, 2017
  • be enrolled in at least 6 graduate credits each semester beginning Spring 2018
  • maintain good academic standing & a minimum GPA of 3.3

Bridge Grant for Career Changers

Who is eligible?

In order to be/remain eligible students must meet all of the criteria below:

  • be pursuing a career change as evidenced by notably different academic pursuits at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels
  • have at least five years of full-time, post-Bachelor’s work experience
  • have applied by November 15th, 2017, and been unconditionally admitted, to a master’s degree program for Spring 2018  (BS/MS students are not eligible)
  • have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.3 at the Bachelor’s level
  • have paid a graduate enrollment deposit for Spring 2018 by December 1st, 2017
  • be enrolled in at least 6 graduate credits each semester beginning Spring 2018
  • maintain good academic standing & a minimum GPA of 3.3
