750 State Street - Brubacher Hall

Brubacher Hall (750 State Street) is one of our first-year residence hall buildings. "Bru" is a co-ed building that houses 305 first-year students and 11 RAs.

There is a member of the professional staff who lives and works in the building, with an office located on the first floor of the building. In addition to a professional staff presence in the building, there is also a Security Guard on-duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when classes are in session. Here are some other building features unique to Brubacher Hall…

  • Brubacher is home to some of Saint Rose’s art faculty and classes and also offers students the Brubacher Café where they can buy sandwiches, soups, etc. using points from their meal plan.
  • There is a computer lab for students to use as well as a common room on the 2nd floor.
  • The Knight Lounge (located in the Saint Rose Room) is also located in this building and is a space used for RA programs as well as studying.

  • Laundry facilities for students to use are located in the building free of charge.
  • Students living in Brubacher Hall are required to be on one of 4 meal plan options throughout the academic year.
  • Brubacher Hall closes during the breaks when the College is closed (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring).

About Brubacher Hall Rooms

All rooms in Brubacher Hall for first-year students are double rooms with the exception of one triple room and one quad.  In addition, the 11 RA rooms are single rooms.
