BOLD Living/Learning Community

The sixth cohort of Saint Rose BOLD Scholars will live, work, and learn together. Seven of the BOLD Scholars’ room and board costs will be underwritten by the BOLD program, alleviating a major source of expense for the students, and enabling them to focus on their education, leadership development, and career launch. Three BOLD Scholars will participate as commuter students with access to the BOLD house to be a part of the community.

Women’s Leadership Course

A core requirement for the BOLD Scholars will be a non-credit, four-part course on women’s leadership. This course will be open to a maximum of three non-BOLD Saint Rose upper-class women.

Leadership Development

BOLD Scholars will experience leadership development in multiple arenas and on various platforms. They will engage with each other, other campus student leaders, as well as BOLD Scholars across the country. They will also have the opportunity to meet women leaders in multiple industries and agencies that are impacting social issues and making a global impact.

A few of these opportunities may be as follows:

  • Bi-Monthly Cohort Meetings
  • Mentors and Professional Development Sessions
  • National Conference Attendance
  • Annual BOLD Retreat

Transformative Internship & Fellowship Experiences

BOLD Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in national and regional internships or fellowships that reflect their majors or intended professional career paths.
