“Hey Siri, how do I find a job after college or an internship next semester?” Hmm…have you tried signing up for the Fall 2022 Internship and Job Fair this Wednesday, September 21? You’ll have the opportunity to meet and be interviewed by employers like WAMC Radio, the FBI, New York State, MVP Healthcare, and more who are seeking students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees from the schools of arts and humanities, business, education, and mathematics and science. Registration ends Tuesday, September 20, so you still have time to sign up!

Stay safe and smart, Saint Rose. Last week, you received an email from the Department of Safety and Security about upcoming training sessions for the campus community on how to respond during an active shooter or hostile intruder situation. These four sessions are scheduled for September 20 and 21 from noon to 1 p.m., September 22 from 4 to 5 p.m., and September 23 from noon to 1 p.m. All of these sessions will be held in MidKnight Eats in Centennial Hall, and we highly encourage you to attend.

Inner peace, world peace. We all need more peace these days. On September 21 at 7 p.m., the Interfaith Sanctuary will host a program called “Stop the Hate,” in which speakers from a multitude of faiths will talk about the actions we can take to elevate peace in our communities. There will be music and prayer, too. This event is not for any one faith, so please consider stopping by. You can find more details about the event in this announcement.

Therapy Dog Thursdays are back! Visit therapy dog Eli on the first floor of the Neil Hellman Library from 2 to 3 p.m. every Thursday! Stop by and give him some love to relieve your stress 🐶

An apple a day … Bring your friends and join the AOE Program for an afternoon of apple picking at Indian Ladder Farms on Friday, September 23. It’s THE Upstate New York thing to do in the fall.
