There are only a few more weeks left in the semester, Golden Knights…we’re not crying, you’re crying!!! We’ve got another great week ahead of us though, so let’s cherish these moments together before summer break starts.

P.S. Do you have any announcements or events to share with other students? Get the word out! Email your In the Know submissions to Sarah at heikkins@strose.edu by 5 p.m. Thursdays to be featured in the next edition.

Hey, soon-to-be grads! The Marketing Department is looking for undergraduate and graduate students graduating in May to be in a few countdown to graduation pics for our Instagram. It can be just you or you could grab your graduating besties for a cute group shot! You’ll also have a chance to decorate your own countdown sign (yay, crafting). You can see an example from our one month countdown here. Email Sarah at heikkins@strose.edu if you’re interested!

Rose Fest is baaaaaack: The semester is winding down and we could all use a little (or a lot) of fun outside. From 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29, the Events office is bringing Rose Fest back to the Green with a jam-packed afternoon carnival! Here’s what to expect: an inflatable obstacle course, axe throwing and jousting, tie-dye stations, spin art, ice cream, cotton candy, fried dough, lawn games … do we need to keep going or are you already in?

After Rose Fest, check out the Artist Management Showcase. Show your support for student musicians at this exciting event on Friday! Featuring music from Catherine Eleanora, Mario Corradi III, and Djay Walker, this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss. This show will kick off in the Hearst Communication Center at 7 p.m. on April 29. Masks are required!

The SEB Semi-Formal is back, too! This Friday is going to be a good one, y’all. After a year away, the spring semi-formal is back at Saint Rose on April 29! This year’s theme? The deep, mysterious sea 🐠 There will be two sessions from 5 to 7 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. There’s limited capacity, so sign up here now! Students are also allowed to bring one outside guest, just make sure they fill out the sign-up form, too.

An update on the WiFi from ITS: ITS is still working with their vendor to resolve lingering issues with the new wireless network. Unfortunately, some of the issues are intermittent, which makes troubleshooting more difficult. We know it’s frustrating, but we hope you can continue to be patient with our friends at ITS while they figure this out.

The wait is over – a new episode of Dear Neighbor just dropped! The third episode of Saint Rose’s own podcast is available for streaming now – listen here. In this episode, the hosts tackle why it’s so important to support conversations about race on college campuses. You can find previous episodes and more information about the pod on their website. Don’t forget to follow Dear Neighbor on Instagram, and keep an eye out for more info about their end-of-semester listening party!

Senior Week is coming up! We hate to see you go, but we love to celebrate you while you’re still here, seniors! Student Life is putting together an awesome slate of events the week of May 9 to help send you off into the real world with a smile. Events will include a Senior Carnival, grad cap decorating, a casino night, and BRUNCH!!! Head to the calendar section for the full schedule.

Check out some great art … the Center for Art & Design is currently displaying the Senior Art Show in the Esther Massry Gallery. You can see their artwork until Saturday, April 30. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
