Why Choose Saint Rose for a Certificate of Advanced Study in Financial Planning?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in the field of financial planning, also known as wealth management, is projected to grow 30 percent between 2014 and 2024. With an aging population and longer life expectancies, financial planning has become increasingly important in the U.S.

Even those without a financial planning background can use this non-degree certificate program to launch a new career. Our program focuses on traditional course delivery and face-to-face interactions with the professors. Networking opportunities are also available through this program.

The Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning program is a registered program with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP® Board), an educational partner of The College of Saint Rose. Saint Rose is one of the few colleges in upstate New York registered with the CFP® Board. A student who successfully completes the program at Saint Rose is qualified to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.

Students can also obtain this certificate through the MBA Plus program, in which they earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree as well as an advanced certificate.
