Professional Experience

Prior to the College of Saint Rose, I worked at Livingstone College and the University of South Dakota. I also have work experience at a sport marketing company in Korea, where I was responsible for planning and promotion, including media relations and corporate marketing. Most recently, I had an opportunity to work at the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. As a Park Communication Center (PCC) Manager, I had organized the structure of PCC, developed radio protocols at the Gangneung Olympic Park (GOP), educated and supervised the PCC operators who were monitoring and tracking the issues in the GOP.

At St. Rose, I am serving on the Admission and Retention Management Committee, the Library Committee, and the Assessment Committee of the Huether School of Business.

Teaching Interests

I enjoy teaching practical courses in sport management and love to share ideas with students through class projects.

Research/Creative Works

My research interests include organizational effectiveness in sports organizations, community development through sports, and sport consumer behaviors. I have publications in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Global Sport Business Journal, International Journal of Sport Management, and International Journal of Physical and Social Sciences). I also presented my research findings at various national and international conferences, including the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM); the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) National Convention; and the World Association for Sport Management (WASM).
