Saint Rose has sparked so many lifetime friendships that I will forever be grateful for. My favorite part about Saint Rose has been the connections I have made with professors and peers that have impacted my journey and education so greatly. I love the late nights I could simply sit on the quad, enjoy the weather and study with my friends. 🙂

What are your future plans?
I plan to continue on in my education journey. I will be finishing up my MS in Molecular Cytology within the next year and hope to continue on with a pHd in public health.

I started out in Music Industry and switched majors to Communications. I met so many musicians thru the Albany DIY community and attended many shows that I will never forget. One in particular had Saint Rose bands: Laveda, Pacer Test, & Waitress and took place February 2020 right before the Covid shutdown. That was the last house show I’ve been to and one of my favorite memories. I also had the opportunity to play at the Linda in Albany, have my music released thru the school record label, and front my band, This Strange Paradise.

What are your future plans?
I want to save up and be able to travel. For now, I hope to find a broadcasting job in New York but will definitely move out of state for a new environment and new chapter within a year or two.

My favorite memory at Saint Rose was publicly sharing my original poems in the commuter lounge with Daniel Nester’s, “Poetry in Performance” class. Public speaking took me out of my comfort zone but I loved doing it because it challenged me to be a better speaker.

Performing with my friends, classmates and bands will always be my most cherished memories of Saint Rose. From the Aretha Franklin ensemble, to New Wave ensemble, and our ABBA cover band, to performing my original music with my band Waitress and recording my senior project album at the studios here at Saint Rose. Being surrounded by the incredible talent of my peers will continue to inspire me for the rest of my career.

What are your future plans?
I’m working on securing a year long fellowship in the realm of advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion in the music industry right after graduation. My hopes are to pursue an entertainment law degree following my fellowship in the hopes to embark onto policy writing in the music industry, and eventually develop my own record label in the future.

My plans for the future after law school, are to become a defense attorney for the wrongfully convicted while working with non-profit/pro-bono organizations such as the Innocence Project. My favorite memories from Saint rose are of my time spent on Jess Evan’s evaluation team with Sophie Westfield. The many hours spent in the Winkler workrooms provided infinite laughs where I made a lifelong best friend. I also loved being able to serve the Albany community while also providing valuable diagnostic information to clients and their families. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate Kelly Fagan with pediatric feeding and AAC clients. Her wealth of knowledge and experience inspired my career path and helped my find my passion.

My future plans include working in the New England area as an CFY-SLP.

Favorite memory at Saint Rose?
I find it hard to determine my favorite memory at Saint Rose because there have been so many different events and clubs provided on campus. I loved dancing on the Saint Rose K-pop team, helping SRTV set up for their weekly news reports, writing for The Saint Rose Chronicle, giving a helping hand to the Student Events Board and The Radio Club, and last but not least, hanging out with The Geeks of the Roundtable and Identity. All these clubs helped me grow as a student and as a member of society. I can honestly say, without them, I may not have become the woman you see today.

That being said, if I have to choose, my favorite event was the annual Drag Show hosted by Identity. Although it was my first performance and my nerves had gotten the best of me, causing me to completely forget my routine, everyone one was so supportive! I ended up placing second in that performance but it was the support, fun and new found confidence that touched my heart and will always stick with me.

My future plans is to travel and work in my field of study for a year or two before pursuing a Masters degree.

My favorite memories at Saint Rose involve my time in the SRTV. One time for the Knightly News I dressed in a reindeer onesie during Christmas time and ran behind the weather man, Chris Weiss while he was doing his report live.

I started my time at Saint Rose as a Graphic Design major. While I ended up later switching to Communications, I was able to meet and get to know a lot of different talented individuals between the two majors.

What are your future plans?

I want to join a business where I can continue to learn and gain experience. I would love to learn as many aspects as I can that will help me to become a successful advertiser and, hopefully in the near future, a social media manager.

Writing and recording my senior project (my debut album “Frame By Frame”) with many of my closest friends at Saint Rose.

This summer I will be an artist management intern with Sweety High, a digital marketing and production company based in Los Angeles that focuses on empowering Gen Z women. I hope to forge my own career path as an artist manager in the years to come as well as continuing to release my own music as I write it.

I will be attending Elon University School of Law. I plan to become an attorney who represents disabled veterans. As a veteran, this is very important to me, as I feel that we do not have many people advocating for us. I hope to help as many veterans as possible receive the compensation they so rightfully deserve, to connect them with whoever they need to get the proper care, to return them to their families, and to educate as many veterans as I can of this process.

Favorite memory at Saint Rose?
I became a St. Rose student after having been out of the Marine Corps for only a few days. I was terrified of the transition and was really worried about fitting in with my fellows and doing well academically. I had no idea what the future had in store for me. My favorite memories will always be my slow transformation from where I was socially and emotionally to where I am now. With help from the faculty, whose compassion and knowledge know no limits, and my newfound friends and colleagues I will always cherish the journey to where I am now. I am truly happy.

What are your future plans?
I plan to continue to pursue my full certification to be an educator here in the great state of NY. I will continue to learn under the guidance of Dr. Fragnoli and the rest of the Education dept and am motivated in the extreme to hone my skills as a mentor and educator as to better serve my community and the future generations of Americans who will inherit the world we pass along. Trading in a ruck sack for a briefcase will continue to be a rewarding experience for me.

My favorite memory at Saint Rose was the 2020 Rose Record Label Gala. I headlined the performance with my band, the Flavors after months of hard work. I was so proud especially to show my father how much work I’ve dedicated to my craft, as it was his first time attending a performance since my freshman year. He has been my number one supporter through my entire life, but my family here at Saint Rose has only lifted me up even more. This school has giving me a place to grow into myself. It’s been an honor to work with such incredible musicians, my best friends and colleagues.

I plan to continue writing, performing and travel. I aspire to use my music to build community. I am considering furthering my education in Music Education or Music Therapy. I am so excited for what the future holds!

Saint Rose was supportive in my endeavors to advocate for eating disorders awareness on campus, and I value those experiences. I also loved all of my time working with The Chronicle. I’ve held a couple different positions on the staff, and I gained more appreciation for journalism. More importantly, the Chronicle staff have become my close friends, and I’ll always be grateful for them.

What are your future plans?
After graduation, I plan to take a gap year to figure out what path I want to take for graduate school. During my gap year, I will get a job in the human services field. My career goal is to become an eating disorders therapist, and I would also love to continue conducting research on eating disorders to shed more light on them.
