“HOME” is used by enthusiastic students, proud alumni, faculty, staff, and administrators to define their experiences and emotions about the College. You may have seen this word splashed across our promotional materials, used creatively in our videos, and on social media. In this guide, we should paint a clear picture of how to use our brand messaging, logo, and imagery.

The HOME brand was launched after extensive research and surveying. It was what best resonated with our Saint Rose community, and it reflects the experience that new students find when they arrive on campus.

A list of “HOME” messages have been approved for use. The following may be used in promotional materials when appropriate.

HOME. OF AN EXCEPTIONAL COLLEGE EXPERIENCE.
HOME. OF WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION.
HOME. OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE.
HOME. OF WHAT COLLEGE SHOULD BE.
HOME. OF DISCOVERING YOUR PATH.
HOME. OF GLOBAL CONNECTEDNESS.
HOME. OF STUDENT SUCCESS.
HOME. OF AMAZING GRADUATE PROGRAMS.

The College name:

Correct Uses:
“The College of Saint Rose” and “Saint Rose”

Incorrect Uses:
“The College of St. Rose”, “St Rose”, “St. Rose.” The only acceptable place for a shortened St. Rose use would be on social media platforms where character counts and names may need to be adjusted.

When to seek assistance from the Office of Marketing and Communications on a project:

If your flier, poster, or other promotional materials is for internal use only and not for a wide audience, you can use the included template to create your materials.

If the promotional material is for use outside of campus, you should fill out a Marketing Request Form. We can ensure top-quality, on-brand design.

Photography:

If you need photos of the College for your project, please contact the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Primary brand colors:

In order to reinforce our brand identity, all College communications should fit within the Saint Rose color palette.
