Thomas Schuttenhelm ’92: Creating Music That Touches the Soul

Thomas Schuttenhelm ’92, artistic director at Network for New Music in Philadelphia, writes beautiful music that meets the needs of those commissioning the pieces and touches the heart and soul.

He credits his passion for his craft to his studies at Saint Rose.
 
“Being serious about making music goes back to my time at Saint Rose, and the professors instilled in me that making music is a serious pursuit,” he said.
