Saint Rose Events for May 2018

Classes are done for the year, the weather has finally begun to warm up, and it’s cap-and-gown time! As we complete the academic year, we see our students head off to internships and our graduates start full-time jobs, grad school, or other adventures. Just a few more big events are scheduled for May.

May 12:

Men’s Track and Field at Mid-East Invitational, time TBA
Women’s Track and Field at Mid-East Invitational, time TBA

June 1:
The 2018 Art & Design Faculty Show: Recent work including drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, photography, and printmaking by The Center for Art & Design faculty will be on exhibition. Special recognition will be given to retiring Saint Rose professors Paul Mauren and Scott Brodie. The first reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. June 1 at the Esther Massry Gallery, 1002 Madison Ave., Albany. The gallery will be open until 9 p.m. for First Friday that night. Another reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. September 7, with the gallery staying open until 9 p.m. The exhibition runs from June 1 through July 31, and from September 7 through 15. Summer hours are Tuesday through Friday noon to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed on July 4 and August 1 through September 6. For more information contact: Jeanne Flanagan at flanagaj@strose.edu.
