Producing a Bright Future in Communications

In our “Love This Class” video series, we offer a front-row seat for viewing the innovative approach to learning that plays out every day in our classrooms.

Recently, we visited the 22 Minutes course taught by Liz Richards, an assistant professor in our communications program who served as a producer for the PBS series “American Experience.” In 22 Minutes, students produce a 22-minute show from start to finish, from writing and revising scripts to filming in our TV studio or out in the field.
