Liz Cort ’03 and Erin Felix ’16: Former Saint Rose Athletes in Sports Careers

Liz (Coughlin) Cort ’03 and Erin Felix ’16 are two Saint Rose alumnae who graduated more than a dozen years apart, both with BS degrees in business administration but different paths to success. Both are high-energy varsity athletes who now enjoy immensely successful sports business careers in New York State. Even so, their career paths could hardly be more different.

One has consistently broken sales records at one of the world’s biggest athletic and entertainment venues, and now cultivates client relationships for a major sports team. The other similarly began her career repeatedly exceeding corporate sales targets – but found that, when she left for the office, her heart stayed at home with her two young children. So, she built a unique, multifaceted entrepreneurial model that drew on her business and fitness expertise, while allowing her to spend more time with her family.
