The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.; closed Sunday. Open until 9 p.m. for 1st Fridays (December 6). Closed November 27 through December 1. Free and open to the public.

Pine Hills Review presents a fall launch reading featuring Olivia Dunn (essay), Danielle Epting (fiction), Penny Perkins (fiction/creative nonfiction), and Karen Schoemer (poetry), 7 p.m., Neil Hellman Library. The event also features readings from students and is free and open to the public.

The Saint Rose School Psychology Association and NYASP Chapter J will hold, “Understanding, Preventing, and Intervening with Bullying: Success and Challenges,” a conference that looks at how to prevent bullying and consider alternatives to traditional punishment, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Touhey Forum, Thelma P. Lally School of Education. Presenter Amanda B. Nickerson, Ph.D., is a professor of school psychology and director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention at the University of Buffalo. Alum meet up in Syracuse: On November 26 from 6 to 8 p.m., come out and cheer on your Golden Knights as they take on the Le Moyne Dolphins! Stop by after the women’s basketball game, which starts at 5 p.m., or before the men’s basketball game, which tips-off at 7 p.m. The venue for this event, The Distillery-DeWitt, 3112 Erie Boulevard East, Syracuse, is only about a mile from Henninger Athletic Center, where the games will be played.

Spend the evening catching up with fellow alums and Saint Rose families; meet Lori Anctil, the new associate vice president and director of athletics; and have the chance to win some great Saint Rose door prizes. Hors d’oeuvres and soda are complimentary. A cash bar is available. Register for that event here.

Holiday Happy Hour, 5:30 p.m., Massry Center for the Arts, a social event for alums and members of the Saint Rose community. Registration includes appetizers, a hot chocolate station, and a bar ticket (cash bar after). Register in advance for $15 or pay $20 at the door. The Esther Massry Gallery will be open late so you can enjoy the Karene Faul Alumni Show at no additional cost. The show features the work of Rachel Baxter ’11 & Daesha Devón Harris ’02.
