January 18 through February 23:
“Revised Realities: Isidro Blasco + Elise Engler,” on view at the Esther Massry Gallery, 1002 Madison Avenue, Albany.  Both artists held solo shows in the former Picotte Hall gallery. Isidro Blasco (2007) works between Madrid, Spain and New York City. He combines architecture, photography, and installation to explore physical and psychological terrains with a focus on the New York urban environment. A life-long New Yorker, Elise Engler (2005) is a painter who documents people, places and things. Her series, A Year on Broadway, was featured on the news show, CBS Sunday Morning. First Radio Headlines Heard of the Day, is a daily drawing project that has been ongoing since before the 2016 presidential election. See hours for the Esther Massry Gallery online. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. January 25 at the gallery. Artist lectures will be held at 7 p.m. January 25 in Saint Joseph Hall Auditorium, 985 Madison Avenue, Albany. The events are free and open to the public.
