2011 Women’s Soccer National Champs Return

Today, they are professionals in health care, financial services, education, and technology. But they will always be the NCAA Division II women’s soccer champions.

Last month, members of the team, which clenched the title in 2011, returned to the College to celebrate their induction into the Northeast-10 Hall of Fame with coach Laurie Darling Gutheil.

The 2011 Golden Knights team is the only team national championship in Saint Rose history. The other national champion is an individual, Brandon Birchak, who won one- and three-meter diving events at the 2007 NCAA Division II Championships.
