Business Students Learn the Highs and Lows of the Stock Market

Male Saint Rose student at investment competition

Saint Rose has always been about offering real-world experiences as part of student learning. Our Huether School of Business students get hands-on opportunities with the stock market in a variety of ways.

In one competition, the Adirondack Cup, students select a portfolio of five stocks and compete against other colleges and universities. In another competition, students invest real money provided by the College. Listen to how they manage the risks of the market in our video.

Will We See You at the Big Game on February 5?

Saint Rose women's basketball player Takora McIntyre dribbling a basketball

Our men’s and women’s basketball teams will play Le Moyne in a double-header on Wednesday, February 5, in Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium, and we plan to pack the gym for this special “blackout” night. All fans will get a black Golden Knights t-shirt as they enter the gym, so they can show their Saint Rose pride in the stands.

If you see one Golden Knights game all year – though we hope you’ll see many – this game promises to be an exciting one against a longstanding Saint Rose rival.

Tickets are available at the game. The women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m. Live too far away to make it? You can watch all of the games online at gogoldenknights.com.
