Why Choose Saint Rose for Accounting?

Whether you have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or are headed back to school for a career change, you’ll find a comprehensive master’s degree program at The College of Saint Rose designed to help you reach your goals and become a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

The demand for this type of service is growing. In 2015, the median salary for an accountant was $67,190—and the top 10% earned roughly $118,930. Our 30-credit hour program will prepare you for the CPA examination and provide you with the conceptual business knowledge and analytical skills needed to be successful in a career in accounting.

Many of our Huether School of Business graduates have gone on to work for MasterCard Worldwide, Merrill Lynch, Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, and more.

Program Highlights

  • Work one-on-one with Accounting faculty who are CPAs with the most relevant experience
  • Prepare for the examination and gain the educational requirements needed to receive a CPA license
  • Benefit from small classroom sizes and the personal attention and support of faculty
  • Get valuable experience in an industry that’s projected to grow by 11% through 2024 — faster than the average for all occupations
