For students enrolled in Saint Rose-approved programs and faculty-led programs, courses will be entered as residency credit. This means that, prior to studying abroad, you will gain approval and find the equivalencies of all of the courses you will potentially take while abroad. The courses, upon your return, will be entered onto your transcript as courses taken at Saint Rose, and the grades will be entered as well.

All of your grades from your semester abroad will be factored into your GPA.

A student’s enrollment in a program of study abroad approved for credit by the college is considered enrollment for the purposes of applying for assistance for federal Title IV financial aid. As a reminder, you must be enrolled in the equivalent of at least 12 Saint Rose credits for your semester abroad; this does not apply to summer students. If you do not enroll in at least 12 Saint Rose credits, please contact the Office of Financial Aid to determine the impact on your financial aid package (institutional/federal/state).
