Where did you grow up?
York, Maine

What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Quinnipiac University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.

What was your favorite class in college?
It was a class called Advertising Competition. Our class participated in a regional competition against other area colleges/universities. We were tasked with developing a comprehensive advertising campaign for Hallmark. At the end of the semester, we presented our campaign to a panel of judges. Even though we placed in second and were not able to proceed to Nationals, it was still a great experience.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
I would either be a Guidance Counselor or work in Human Resources.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
Swimming, hiking, reading and spending time with family.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
Having my two kids…Will and Natalie (which is closely followed by somehow getting them on the bus on time.)

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
My family (I’m sure that doesn’t count but I don’t see any rules), Breyer’s Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and a boat to get off the island.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up just outside of Albany, in Scotia, but as an adult I’ve lived all over the USA.  I’m enjoying rediscovering all the great things to do in NY’s Capital Region.

What is your educational background?
I completed an unusual double major at the College of Holy Cross: Chemistry and Psychology.  I earned a Master’s in Environmental Science/Geology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and have taken graduate courses in Business and Social Work.  Not what you’d call a conventional path!

What was your favorite class in college?
My favorite undergraduate class was Experimental Psychology.  I enjoyed designing studies and participating in research.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
If I were not in Higher Education, I’d probably be a Career Coach or a Choreographer.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy reading, kayaking, cooking, and dancing.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
Raising my two sons and helping them navigate their way to college.

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
A box full of books, a solar-powered music source, and a chef’s knife.

Where did you grow up?
Queens, NYC

What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

What was your favorite class in college?
Immigrants and Literature in the United States.  My favorite part of the class was writing an essay topic about the significance of clothing in literature and how it portrayed class and changing values.  It was also interesting to learn the history of various cultures and periods of immigration that make the United States it’s melting pot today.

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
I would have been a fiction/fantasy writer or a school counselor.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I love to read and write on my downtime, especially with a hot cup of tea! Some other hobbies include bullet journaling, baking, and playing rpg games.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
As an introvert, my biggest accomplishment was performing spoken word about diversity on stage in college.  I had taken the opportunity to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone.

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Alcohol for disinfecting wounds/cleaning things, a rocket flare to signal for help, and a book about people being deserted on an island like “Lord of the Flies”

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Lynbrook, NY on Long Island.

What is your educational background?
I have a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta. I am currently working on Master’s Degree in Higher Education at SUNY Albany.

What was your favorite class in college?
My favorite class was a History of New York City class I took as an elective. Growing up close to the city, I thought I already knew a lot about it but it was fascinating learning about the city’s history .

What job would you have if you were not in higher education?
If I were not in Higher Education, I would be an RN (Registered Nurse) or Screenwriter.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, cooking, kayaking, and the occasional binge watching of Netflix.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

What three things would you like to have if you were stranded on a deserted island?
1. My cell phone with a mobile hotspot so I can attempt to contact someone to get me off the island
2. A friend with me so I’m not alone
3. Sunscreen because I get awful sunburns
