Honoring our faculty

As the Spring 2023 semester winds down, the College has honored faculty, particularly those celebrating retirements and milestones. Shown above at a ceremony last Wednesday in the Touhey Forum, Provost Margaret McLane (left) and President Marcia White (right) thank retiring professors (from left,) Dr. Laura Weed, professor of philosophy/religious studies; Dr. Scott Jerris, associate professor of accounting and Frank Venezia, M.S., assistant professor of accounting. Not shown, is Dr. Michael Bologna, professor of counseling, who is also retiring.

Promoted to professor are Dr. Steven Hoff, school counseling;

Dr. Ronald Shavers, English; and Dr. Dandan Wu, finance.

Granted tenure and promoted to associate professor are Dr. Haidy Brown, management; Dr. Deidre Muldoon, communication sciences and disorders and Dr. Donna Van Alst, social work.

Named professor emeritus are Dr. Khalid Mehtabdin, economics, and Paul Evoskevich, M.M., music
