The College of Saint Rose Office of Career Services will be hosting a number of exciting networking events for students, alumni, and the public in April. On April 12, the Spring 2023 Internship and Job Fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium in the Events and Athletic Center at 432 Western Avenue. In addition, the Office of Career Services will host the 2023 Education Expo on April 13 and an etiquette dinner for students on April 20.

The Spring 2023 Internship and Job Fair will host more than 50 employers representing a multitude of industries. These employers are seeking both undergraduate and graduate students from all programs at Saint Rose, as well as alumni and job-seeking members of the general public. Registration for the spring career fair is free for all attendees. To register for the Spring 2023 Internship and Job Fair, visit the Office of Career Services website.

“Networking, putting your best professional foot forward, expanding your knowledge of different fields, and connecting previous experiences and academic studies to your career aspirations and goals are just some of the benefits of attending a career fair,” says Sharon Edwards Grant, director of the Office of Career Services. “Learning about available employment opportunities from 50+ employers through on-the-spot recruitment that will take just 45 to 60 minutes of your time!”

At the Education Expo on April 13, graduating Saint Rose students and alumni will have the opportunity to connect with more than 50 local and out-of-state employers looking to hire teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, speech language pathologists, school administrators, and more. The etiquette dinner, held on April 20, will be a formal opportunity for current students, student-athletes, and young professionals to network while learning proper dining manners throughout a four-course meal. The dinner will be hosted by esteemed alum, Robert Shutt G’92. Shutt is an etiquette educator, author, and adjunct professor of public speaking at Binghamton University and SUNY Broome. Registration is required for both events.
