Randee Gresge G'20

Randee Gresge G’20

Randee Gresge G’20 has been appointed assistant principal of Nassau BOCES Willet Avenue School, which provides a highly structured learning environment for students with significant developmental challenges including autism and multiple disabilities. Randee brings over 20 years of experience as a special educator, serving as a teacher, mentor, and leader.

Joseph A. Szepessy G’20 has been promoted to business development officer at the Bank of Greene County.

2010s

Daniel Cava G'19

Daniel Cava G’19

Daniel Cava G’19 has been appointed assistant principal of Nassau BOCES Barry Tech, Long Island’s premiere career and technical education (CTE) high school. He brings several years of experience, and proven skill as a technology teacher and administrator, to the role, understanding the value of CTE and possessing a unique insight into the learning style of technology students. He has demonstrated this expertise as a founder and coach of the Island Trees LEGO League Robotics Team, coach of the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics team, and as a Science Olympiad coach.

Brian Moore G’18 was selected as the next superintendent of the General Brown Central School District and his appointment will be finalized at an upcoming meeting of the school board.

Julie Chapman G'17

Julie Chapman G’17

Julie Chapman G’17 won TWO New York Emmys. She and her team at the Spectrum News morning show won for best morning newscast in a small/medium market and Julie won for a story about Dylan Dunney, a teen who took a life-changing fall at Thacher Park. You can watch her piece on Dunney here.

Avien Henry G’16, G’17 is the new principal at Hellen Keller Services Children’s Learning Center. The school serves students who are blind, have low vision, are deaf-blind or have a combined hearing-vision loss, and who are on the autism spectrum.

Kaitlyn Moresi ’15, a board-certified behavior analyst, has been named clinical director of Berkshire Family & Individual Resources.

2000s

Michael Paglialonga G’09 joined Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management. Paglialonga advises employers across a range of areas, including claims related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, New York State Human Rights Law and Title VII. He also provides counsel on COVID-19-related restrictions and reopening requirements, as well as New York labor law matters.

Sheena Oommen G’08 has joined the Seaford School District as assistant superintendent for human resources and instructional support.

David Scott G’08 was awarded the Alumni Professional Achievement Award at the State University of New York, New Paltz. He has served as an educator for the past 21 years at every level from college to elementary school, as an adjunct professor and college counselor, high school guidance counselor, and assistant principal. He is currently the principal of Clinton Elementary School in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Candace Morey Wall '06

Candace Morey Wall ’06

Candace Morey Wall ’06 Received the honors of Berkshire County Forty under 40 and as Berkshire Magazine’s Berkshire 25. Her group psychotherapy practice, Berkshire-based (also serving online in New York and Vermont), has received recognition for Best Mental Health Counseling in the Berkshires.

Kevin Graber

Kevin Graber ’92 was recently hired as complex coordinator for the Chicago Cubs at their spring training facility in Mesa, Arizona. He’ll also manage the Arizona Cubs, Chicago’s rookie-level affiliate that plays at Sloan Park in Mesa.

Richard Murphy G’92 was named interim principal at Ballston Spa High School. An educator for many years, he has previously served as principal of Shaker High School before retiring last year.

Karla Parsons-Banach ’82

Karla Parsons-Banach ’82 was ordained an Episcopalian priest. She will be serving at Saint Francis Mission Church of Albany.
