The College of Saint Rose was named to the 2021 Transfer Honor Roll for the fourth year in a row by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) — an honor society for students who attend an associate-degree-granting college.

Saint Rose is among 150 colleges across the country and 14 colleges in New York State to top the honor roll. Colleges are recognized for their transfer friendliness, which is determined by their PTK Connect Transfer Profile, an online platform PTK students use to search for colleges.

“We know PTK students thrive at Saint Rose. They work hard, and we want to see their hard work pay off. That’s why we offer PTK students a special scholarship opportunity, in addition to other benefits, to provide a rewarding transfer experience,” said Sandra Battaglino, director of transfer enrollment at Saint Rose. “We’re thrilled to receive this honor for the fourth year in a row and will continue to work hard for PTK students.”

Saint Rose offers a $1,000 annual scholarship to PTK students in addition to merit scholarships up to $14,500. Transfer students can also take advantage of the College’s Seamless Transfer program, which allows qualified SUNY students to enter Saint Rose with their liberal-education requirements met, so they can focus exclusively on major credits.

Additionally, transfer students can leverage our 2-in-4 programs to receive two degrees — a BA/BS and an MBA — in as little as two years, saving them time and money. And Saint Rose recently added 24-hour credit evaluations to the admissions process to help students quickly determine how long it will take them to graduate.

“The College of Saint Rose is committed to providing a transfer-friendly admissions and recruitment process. Our addition of 24-hour credit evaluations is a testament to that,” said Sarah Martinez, assistant director of transfer enrollment and recruitment.
