Students attending the Rose Record Label Gala in 2019

Rose Record Label Group, a student-run record label at The College of Saint Rose, will be hosting its sixth-annual Rose Record Label Gala on February 8 at 7 p.m. in Studio G3, located in the Hearst Center for Communications and Interactive Media, 996 Madison Avenue, Albany. The event is free and open to the public.

The label is excited to welcome three new signed female artists to the label, Kyra V, Kyla Silk, and Tori. Signed artists Julia Gargano and Pink Nois will be performing for the third year in a row. The SMAN Songwriters will also perform.

“Signing three new female artists is an exciting and pivotal moment for our label. It is important to accentuate and celebrate female artists in this industry,” said Label President and BOLD Scholar Belinda Ligotino.

The Rose Record Label Group will be premiering the first live studio session of a new series called “Sleepover Sessions.” The Gala will showcase the first episode of many, this one specifically highlighting Pink Nois. The Sleepover Sessions series was created this past year to enhance the video department and start new traditions that the label is hoping will blossom into something beyond the Saint Rose community.

Prior to the shows, appetizers and refreshments will be available in the main lobby of the Massry Center for the Arts, located at 1002 Madison Avenue, from 6 to 7 p.m. Merchandise will also be available for purchase during the event.
